Reading the three men's styles: Natural, Soft, Sharp
The three men's styles share a straight upper line and a short tail, and differ in how defined the brow looks. Men's Natural stays closest to an untouched brow, Men's Soft fills it a little more evenly, and Men's Sharp gives the clearest edges. Look at which one still looked like you at a glance. These are AI virtual brows, not a result.
What the men's virtual eyebrow try on styles have in common
I'm Jisun, the owner of London Brow in Seoul. When you choose men's styles in my brow preview, you get three: Men's Natural, Men's Soft and Men's Sharp. Men's virtual eyebrow try on styles are built to be read together, because they share the same basic line. The upper edge stays straight rather than arched, and the tail ends shorter than in the women's styles.
Those two features come from how I design men's brows: a straight upper line without a bump, and a shorter run from the arch to the tail. I explain the full set of men's rules elsewhere; for reading the preview, those two are the ones to keep in mind. Because they stay constant, what you are really comparing across the three men's styles is weight and definition.
Men's Natural: the closest to an untouched brow
Men's Natural is the quietest of the three. It keeps the straight line and short tail but changes the overall look the least. It is the one most men worry about least at first, because it does not announce itself. To judge it, look at the card from a normal speaking distance, about the distance of a colleague across a desk, rather than up close.
Ask one question at that distance: would someone notice anything changed? If the answer is 'not really, but it looks tidier', Men's Natural is doing what it is meant to do. If it looks almost identical to your original, note that too. It might mean your own brow is already close to what you want.
Men's Soft and Men's Sharp: more weight, clearer edges
Men's Soft adds a little more even fullness while keeping the edges gentle. Men's Sharp is the most defined of the three, with the clearest edges along the line. The difference is easiest to see at the front and along the lower edge. Look at where each style starts near the nose: a soft start blends into the skin, a sharper start reads as a clear beginning.
Try the same comparison at two intensity settings, one lighter and one darker. Some men find Men's Sharp looks right only when it is light; others like Men's Soft at a stronger setting. That combination tells me more than the style name alone. People differ, and a style that looks strong on one face looks plain on another.
Which one felt like him
The question I find most useful is not which style looks best but which one still looked like you at a glance. Close the card, open it again after a few minutes, and notice which of the three your eye lands on as 'me'. That first reaction is often more honest than a long comparison.
If you are helping someone else, a partner or a friend, ask them the same question rather than giving your opinion first. Then compare answers. When two people pick the same style for different reasons, both reasons are worth writing down.
Send the style with one worry
Consultations at London Brow are translation-assisted over WhatsApp. Send the card with the style name and the one thing you are unsure about: 'Men's Soft felt like me, but I worry it looks drawn on.' That worry is common and useful. In the consultation I look at your face shape, how your hairs grow and how much hair you have, and we decide how much of the virtual look your own brow should carry.
Before your consultation
- Look at the three men's styles from desk distance, not up close.
- Compare where each style starts near the nose: soft blend or clear beginning.
- Repeat the comparison at a lighter and a darker intensity.
- Look at the card again after a few minutes and note which style your eye reads as you.
Common questions
Is Men's Natural the same as the Men's Brow menu?
No. Men's Natural is a virtual shape in the preview. Men's Brow is my menu for men's brows. The menu and how defined the brow should be are decided together after I look at your real brows.
Why do all three men's styles look straight?
Because I design men's brows with a straight upper line and a shorter tail, and the men's set follows that direction. What changes between the three is weight and how clear the edges are.
